Name: | Betty Winchester |
---|---|
Birthdate: | May 14 |
Betty isn't your usual kind of girl, she's got a few tricks up her sleeve, see, she was a car for most of her life, no seriously, '67 Chevy Impala, black and chrome, the Winchester Family Heirloom, but now she's not.
And that's because Gabriel, while still undercover as the Trickster thought it would be funny to trade her headlights for headlights if you know what I mean (and I think you do) to give the boys something else to contend with while the world was coming apart at the seams. At least, that's how he tells it. As far as Betty's concerned, she figures he knew they'd need all the help they could get, and so it was his way of giving them an extra pair of hands.
There were a few false starts where she was one or the other, either the car or the girl, but during the events of Changing Channels he got it sorted out so that they could have a sidekick, and a mode of transportation at the same time. After that they shipped her off to Bobby's for a while, just to make sure that she knew everything she needed to, even though she remembered things from before she was people anyway. This forced training is why she readily answers to both 'Winchester' and 'Singer' since she is a part of the family.
